We are excited to offer this service to our community and others who are interested in our office. We are a full service law enforcement agency that serves a community of approximately 30,000 full time residents.

It is an honor to serve as your sheriff, and I sincerely want to thank each of you for the trust and support you have given me. Your input and suggestions are important, and we will continue to be available to you, while working diligently to protect the lives and property in Pickens County.

We strive to provide the citizens of Pickens County with a safe place to live with professional, competent, and courteous law enforcement service. Our motto is to “Determined to make a Difference.” We are determined and with your support, together we can make a Difference in our community.

I am so fortunate to serve with such a wonderful group of men and women in the Sheriff’s Office. They are dedicated to serving each of our citizens and visitors of  Pickens County. The public trust in our office is greatly appreciated and serves as a constant reminder of the tremendous responsibilities of our office.

Sheriff’s Citizen’s Academy

After filling in with applicants from past classes, the Pickens Sheriff’s Office still has a few slots remaining for the 2014 Sheriff’s Citizens Academy.

The Citizens academy will allow you to learn all about the Sheriff’s Office while having fun and meeting the men and women who work there! The Academy will run on Tuesday and Thursday nights from March 11th through April 10th. Each night you will be fed a delicious supper from one of our sponsors.

Come go on patrol! Learn what to look for at a crime scene! Take a peek at how the deputies are trained and make new friends as you learn how your Sheriff’s Office operates!

The Pickens Sheriff's Office was honored to grill for the the Pickens County Dragons football players, cheer leaders, and parents last Saturday.
